The Shimanoyama Region Treasure Hunt is a featured event in the Series 5 Week 3 Festival Playlist of Forza Horizon 6. This winter season challenge requires players to locate a hidden treasure chest, which is cleverly hinted at with the phrase, "Follow the Photo Clue to Discover the Treasure!" The challenge is relatively straightforward, but it can be tricky if players don’t know where to start.
The treasure chest is situated in the southern section of the Shimanoyama region, just off the main road west of Tokyo. More precisely, players should look for it on a winding road that runs north of the Izu Skyline. It is easily visible when approaching from either direction, making it a relatively simple task to find. The best way to reach the chest is to head northwest out of Tokyo, navigate through the winding trails, and keep an eye on the side of the road where the chest is located.
